Integrative medicine combines the best of conventional medicine with alternative philosophic ways of looking at the body and the processes of health and disease. Integrative medicine looks at the the whole body, mind, and spirit, together when developing the plan-of-care. Integrative medicine uses many healing modalities aside from prescription medications, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress management, environmental detox, healing of the gut, supplementation of vitamins/minerals/nutraceuticals/herbal medicines, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, lymphatic drainage, cellular drainage, acupuncture, ozone therapy, and more.
Personalized medicine is the concept of developing a plan-of-care that is created just for you! Through the use of an in-depth history and physical, longer appointment times, open communication, and a strong patient/provider relationship, we are able to give your body what it needs to heal and stay healthy.
I would be honored to help facilitate your journey to wellness. I care about your well being and will provide you with guidance, knowledge, and support to help facilitate healing. I am available via phone, text message, EMR messaging, and email to provide you with the personalized medicine you need and deserve.
While studying to become a nurse practitioner at the University of Colorado, I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, tick borne illness, multiple chemical sensitivities, chronic fatigue syndrome, and toxic mold exposure. The lack of relief I received from conventional medicine changed the way I viewed disease and medicine. As I began to heal from my illness, I discovered the healing power or herbs, homeopathics, lymphatic drainage, cellular drainage, ozone therapy, and other alternative modalities. Armed with my knowledge and personal experience of healing chronic illness within my own body, I am ready to help lead others down the path of wellness and health.
As a family nurse practitioner I am licensed and certified to diagnose and treat all ages of patients with all types of acute and chronic illness. I am qualified to order the same tests and medications as a medical doctor or physician assistant.
